SLTB earns millions from May Day ‘services’
The Sri Lanka Transport Board (SLTB) says that they charged a levy for all the buses that were allocated for the May Day this year.
The Deputy General Manager of the Sri Lanka Transport Board Raja Gunathilaka said that it had generated a sum of Rs.45 million, as a result.
He said steps were to be taken to recover the loss suffered owing to certain buses allocated for the May Day rally being attacked.
