How can Sri Lankan charities find international donors and partners?

The Sri Lanka Tourism Promotion Bureau (SLTPB) partners the American Chamber of Commerce in Sri Lanka (AmCham) at its 12th Annual Amcham RCGC Golf Tournament 2011 organised together with the Royal Colombo Golf Club (RCGC) on October 29 at the RCGC.

This tournament is organised as a charitable event where part proceeds of the tournament are utilised to meet the educational requirements of needy children. This year’s CSR project through this tournament will be to meet the educational requirements of the children of the caddie staff at the RCGC and those others in the vicinity.
SLTPB spokesman said that they believe this is an ideal opportunity to promote golf tourism in Sri Lanka with the wide network of AmCham and its affiliations. SLTPB trusts that this will be a stepping stone to promote Sri Lanka as a tourist destination where tourists from all corners of the world could come to enjoy the beauty and hospitality this small island nation has to offer.
Spokesman from AmCham states that they are delighted with the new partnership with SLTPB and pledges their support in promoting Sri Lanka Tourism to their counterparts and by inviting them to do business and invest in Sri Lanka.
The AmCham RCGC Golf Tournament, a well known event amongst the golfing community   is expected to attract more than 150 golfers this year. The winners of this year’s golf tournament will be walking away with airline tickets, hotel stays and other fabulous prizes.
