Typhoid outbreak among Colombo city hotel workers
Colombo (Srilankamirror) - Colombo city is experiencing an outbreak of typhoid fever, said chief medical officer of the Colombo municipal council Dr. Pradeep Kariyawasam.
Around 100 hotel workers have been affected by the infectious disease.
Dr. Kariyawasam said more than 10,000 hotel workers in the city would be immunized against typhoid fever.
