ICC confirms Eranga suspended: Eranga hospitalized but out of danger
The International Cricket Council has informed Sri Lanka Cricket that Shaminda Eranga has been suspended from International Cricket with immediate effect due to an illegal bowling action.

The ICC has informed SLC that Eranga may however be permitted to play domestically at the discretion of Sri Lanka Cricket which may be beneficial in the process of monitoring his corrective measures.
Meanwhile, SLC is pleased to confirm that Eranga who was hospitalized on Saturday (18th) following a detection of an elevated heart-rate is out of danger and under observation and testing only. Eranga will return to Sri Lanka no sooner he is medically cleared to undertake the journey.
