Thilanga comes down hard on Interim Committees
Srilankamirror - UPFA parliamentarian and former Chairman of Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), Thilanga Sumathipala has come down hard on the members who have served in the recent SLC Interim Committees.
Sumathipala has said that those who have served in recent interim committees have no moral right to contest the upcoming elections for SLC.
Sumathipala has told BBC Sandeshsaya that former interim committee members are accused of ruining the cricket administration in Sri Lanka.
Sumathipala who declared his intention to contest the elections based on a “five-year development programme,” was commenting on media reports that Nishantha Ranatunga, together with Central Bank Governor Ajith Nivard Cabraal, are also planning to enter the contest.
