Rs. 1,020 m profit by LECO
(Srilankamirror) - Power minister Patali Champika Ranawaka said the estimated profit of Lanka Electricity Company Ltd. by October 2011 was Rs. 1,020 million.
The minister placed the figure before the House today (Dec. 02) in response to an oral question by UNP’s Ravi Karunanayake.
He also said LECO has 114.5 million listed shares, worth Rs. 10 each.
These shraes are divided among the CEB, Treasury, UDA, Sri Jayewardenepura Kotte Municipal Council, Peliyagoda Urban Council, Maharagama Pradeshiya Sabha and Kotikawatt-Mulleriyawa Pradeshiya Sabha.
