SL wins Malaysian leg of U20 Asian Rugby 7s championship
Sri Lanka’s Under 20 Rugby Sevens team emerged champions of the Malaysia leg of the Asian Under 20 Rugby Sevens tournament on Sunday July 31.
The Under 20 Tuskers faced off against the powerful South Korean outfit in the final of the Malaysia leg of the Asian Under 20 Rugby Sevens tournament today.
The young tuskers ran circles around the opposition and by lemons were in a commanding position at 21 to nil.By the final whistle, the lads from Sri Lanka had added another 13 points to win 34 to nil.
The second and final leg of the Asian Under 20 Rugby Sevens tournament will work off in Hong Kong, on August 12.
