MAS Holdings to start a factory in Kilinochchi

(News360.lk) Sri Lanka’s MAS Holdings, a leading garment manufacturer has started a campaign to hire potential executives to run a new facility, which it says is coming up in Kilinocchi district, once a war-torn area.

According to MAS Holdings, the new facility which is being built in Kilinochchi is a world class facility.

The new unit will come under MAS Active, a division of MAS Holdings and is engaged in manufacturing performance wear, competition sportswear and casual sportswear.

Kilinochchi district, situated in the Northern Sri Lanka was once controlled by the LTTE, a listed terror group both locally and abroad.

The group, which was totally wiped out by the Sri Lankan forces during the year 2009, once used the town at its main administrative center.
