How can Sri Lankan charities find international donors and partners?

FCID questions 50 officials today, PRECIFAC completes investigating 237 complaints

It is reported that 50 officials from several state institutions have been summoned to FCID today (11th) to get statements regarding financial irregularities that have been committed during former Mahinda Rajapaksa regime.

Officials from Presidential Secretariat, Tourist Board, Engineering Services, EPF, Ceylon electricity Board, Football Federation of Sri Lanka, Maga Neguma Department and CSN channel are among the officials summoned today.

Meanwhile, the Presidential Commission of Inquiry to Investigate and Inquire into Serious Acts of Fraud, Corruption and Abuse of Power, State Resources and Privileges (PRECIFAC) states it has completed investigating 237 of the complaints it had received.

PRECIFAC investigates irregularities committed in state institutions during the period January, 2010 to January 2015.It has received 1595 complaints and 1049 of them were probed. 689 complaints were rejected and 43 were directed to other institutions for investigation. The Commission states 139 complaints have been referred for police investigations.
