President presents laptops to students who excelled at GCE O/L Examination 2015

President Maithripala Sirisena met with the twelve students that obtained the top 10 spots at the 2015 GCE Ordinary Level Examinations. The meeting ws held at  the Presidential Secretariat on Tuesday morning.

The achievements of the Students at the 2015 Ordinary Level examinations was appreciated by the President who also granted each of them a laptop.

Cash prizes were also presented by the President.

A book titled Nallur Kandaswamy Kovil- The Great Temple written by Manager Programmes of Shakithi TV, Umachandrea Pragash was handed over to President Maithripala Sirisena. This book details the rich history of the Nallur Kovil.

Meanwhile, the President paid his last respects to Chandhani Ratnayake who was the daughter of veteran singer Victor Rathnayake
