CSN OB vehicle to Rupavahini
Kaduwela Magistrate Dammika Heemapala has ordered FCID to temporarily hand over the ‘Outside Broadcast’ (OB) vehicle that was seized from Carlton Sports Network (CSN) to Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC).
FCID informed Kaduwela Magistrate today (25th) that the OB vehicle that costs Rs.93 million could be handed over to SLRC as CSN or any other person has not been able to establish its ownership. Accordingly, the Magistrate has given permission to hand over the vehicle to SLRC until its ownership is established.
The FCID arrested Yoshitha Rajapaksa and the directors of CSN Nishantha Ranatunga, Rohan Weliwita, Ashan Ravinath Fernando and Kavishan Dissanayaka on 30th January on several charges of fraud and over misuse of state property. However, they have been released on bail.
