Piyavi - Swarnavahini’s latest muddle

- srilankamirror.com

(Srilankamirror) - The current head of Swarnavahini and his second mate is secretly plotting to introduce a lengthy teledrama named ‘Piyavi’, ‘Srilankamirror’ learns.

Though assisting teledrama productions is nothing extraordinary, the secrecy of it all has piqued the curiosity of the workers, reports say.

The fact that the producer is none other than the owner of Vinil Gems has sharpened their interest, reports add.

Other teledrama producers say that this teledrama too, will get the same backing and priority as received by the teledrama ‘Doowaru’, which was also financially backed by Vinil gems.

Reports say that other teledrama producers are miffed with the channel’s chief due to the massive backup given to the promotion campaign of ‘Doowaru’.

Cutouts and trailers are being displayed at every EAP cinema hall in addition to the newspaper advertisements, reports say.
