Cubicles banned at cyber cafes
(Srilankamirror) - Cyber cafes will not be allowed to have separate cubicles for each of the customers, the National Child Protection Authority says.
NCPA chairperson Anoma Dissanayake says the aim is to prevent children from entering websites that distort their minds.
According to her, the first steps taken towards this end in Vavuniya town have been a success.
Talks will be held next week with government agents in other parts of the county on implementing the ban island wide, said Mrs. Dissanayake.
