Namal Rajapaksa meets Yasushi Akash
Discussions have been held between Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa and Japanese Special Representative Yasushi Akashi.
Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa who is participating in the annual Sri Lanka Tea and Trade Promotion Seminar in Tokyo, Japan met with Japanese Special Envoy to Sri Lanka Yasushi Akashi. They focused on the steady development taking place in the north and east and the resettlement process. Yasushi Akashi extended his greetings for the development taking place in Sri Lanka at a fast pace and discussed about the effective implementation of the report of the Lessons Learnt and Reconciliation Commission. They also focused on strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.
