ITN to telecast a children’s tele-drama

The latest children’s tele-drama of ITN ‘Muthu Pihatu’ will be telecast from next week.

 ITN which has revolutionized the tele-drama scene is introducing a new time belt to telecast ‘Muthu Pihatu’. It is based on a special theme suitable for the entire family. ITN will telecast the tele-drama from 6.30 pm on Saturdays and Sundays. Anoma Wijewardena has written the screen play of the teledrama that deals with a school that has been started with a group of children, rejected by the society. A media briefing in this connection was held yesterday at Rajagiriya with the participation of ITN Chairman Rosmond Senaratne and the members of the board. The teledrama is directed by Lilantha Kumarasiri. It is co-produced by ITN and Lukes Production House. Eighteen children are performing in the teledrama along with a number of veteran actors including  Sanath Wimalasiri and Gihan Fernando. ITN invites you to view their latest path breaking  tele-drama that will be telecast from next week.
