Upper Arlington shows off plans to replace, repair school buildings
Upper Arlington might have a brand new, four-story high school building within a few years, if the Board of Education goes with a proposal the superintendent outlined Monday night. And its middle schools could be repaired and the five elementary schools might be rebuilt or renovated, too. The options Superintendent Paul Imhoff selected for shoring up the district's nine aging buildings would cost $305 million to $309 million in 2018 dollars — if every building were redone at the same time. But the district expects the work to take place in phases over 15 years.
