While people in one part of the country are suffering as natural water sources dry up, in another part of the country, people are unable to access water.
Through the Gammadda 100 Day initiative, we have been able to lend a helping hand to people suffering from thirst.
Nochchiyagama
The people of Mahalinda Wewa spend at least half their lives walking long distances in search of water. Their daily struggle was brought to a close on Thursday October 13.
Incidentally, the financial support provided by the Chief Incumbent of the Kelaniya Raja Maha Vidaraya, Professor Venerable Kollupitiye Mahinda Sangharakkitha Thera, was instrumental in the success of this project.

“Gammadda has done something for this village which neither an MP nor a minister has done.”
