Maithri comes out with another statement

Raiding the residence and compound of Kalutara District UPFA Parliamentarian Kumar Welgama looking for two hidden bullet proof cars belonging to the government was a childish act says President Maithripala Sirisena.

The whole government is embarrassed due to such childish acts said the President adding whatever is said about him, he would call such moves childish acts.

Speaking to a Sinhalese daily President Sirisena said even if someone gives information, there are ways of finding such hidden goods without resorting to such childish acts. There is modern technical equipment that could be used and such instruments are also available at the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau pointed out the President.

President Sirisena said he is not aware whether the raid was conducted by the CID or the FCID but whoever did it he would say that the police got itself smeared in mud. In the end they become a laughing stock before the people said President Sirisena.
