- itnnews.lk

President Rajapaksa has said that efforts of those who supported the agenda of the separatist terrorist have come a cropper. He pointed out that the large investor presence at the “Sri Lanka Expo 2012” is a strong and valuable vote of confidence in Sri Lanka and a growing trust in the new opportunities for export trade.

President said the presence of investors here today shows the failure of the efforts of those who still support the agenda of separatist terror that prevented development in Sri Lanka for more than three decades.
The large international presence at this event is a clear indication of the growing awareness in the world of the new investment opportunities in Sri Lanka. The President noted that Sri Lanka is in the midst of peace won at great sacrifice. The country is progressing on the path of peace and reconciliation. His Government is committed to walk that extra mile to establish permanent peace through reconciliation. He opined that it is their commitment to the people and no one.
The President declared open the Sri Lanka Expo 2012 International Trade Exhibition. The countrymen are reaping the dividends of peace achieved with strong dedication. He stressed that it is their commitment to the people and no one should dictate terms to the Government. The President also joined in viewing the Exhibition. He exchanged pleasantries the many foreign investors. The Exhibition will continue at the BMICH until Saturday the 31st. Many Parliamentarians were present at the opening ceremony.
