SLC announces 16-member squad for ODIs in South Africa

Sri Lanka Cricket National Selection Committee, led by Chairman Sanath Jayasuriya has announced the names of 16 players who are to be included in Sri Lanka’s one-day International (ODI) for the ongoing series against South Africa.

Sri Lanka will play five ODI matches as part of this series from January 28th to February 10th , 2017.

The names on the squad are:

The squad will be captained by Upul Tharanga due to the absence of Angelo Mathews who exited from the series on personal grounds following a hamstring injury.

1 st match – Jan 28th at St George’s Park, Port Elizabeth

2 nd match – Feb 1st at Kingsmead, Durban

3 rd match – Feb 4th at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg

4 th match – Feb 7th at Newlands, Cape Town

5 th match – Feb 10th at SuperSport Park, Centurion
