How can Sri Lankan charities find international donors and partners?

Data thieves and hackers are probably richer than you!

IT fraud and data theft is all too common. As Communication and data organization is made efficient and quite easy to pick up, we cannot help but transform into parasites that depend solely on our desktops to get through the day. If you are not among us unfortunate souls, hats off for you.

Fazal Issadeen a veteran in the field of ICT with 30 years of experience, advises and warns of the impact data loss, can cause to an organization.
Issadeen notes that as a result of companies giving little thought to fraud detection, many of them bear major financial losses. The Computer Crime and Security Survey certified this by showing that 91% of organizations spend less than 5% on their annual IT Security budget and henceforth 59% of organizations have made financial casualties due to insider IT abuse.
“If a fraud policy is in place, the thought of committing the fraud will not happen and thereby the fraud will not occur,” Issadeen explained at a breakfast meeting once, when he spoke on the importance of resisting IT thievery.
Issadeen has managed to narrow down this vast subject so as to give us a clear perception on how IT fraud occurs, why is arises, and what we have to do to prevent it.
McQuire Rens and Jones after recognizing the importance of the subject invite all of you who share the similar view, to attend the program ‘IT fraud deterrence and detection’ at the Salon Anthurium, Galadari Hotel on the 24th of April 2012,
