T.B. Jayah Zahira College, Slave Island and Arethusa College Wellawatte had organised Battle of the Greens inaugural big match at the Malay Grounds Colombo recently.

T.B. Jayah win the inaugural big match. TB  Jayah 193 runs and Arethusa College 165 runs. Mohamed Fazil of Arethusa who was adjudged the man of the match and received award from Arethusa Former Vice Principal D.D.C. Munasinghe. Best bowler and best batsman  award received by T.B. Jayah Captain Iqlas Ismail and Arafath Nawaz.  
Former  Sri Lanka Cricketer Thilan Samaraweera. Sri Lanka Umpires Association President  A. R. M. Aroos,  ITN Director Hashim Omar were distributed prizes to the winners.
 T.B. Jayah Zahira College Principal Mrs. Nazeera Hassanar, Arethusa College Principal Mrs. Bimla Widwanthi, Arethusa OBA Secretary Marshad Barry and Old boys, parents and students were present.
