SLC calls for Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) in January

Sri Lanka Cricket today (12) announced that at its monthly meeting held on 6th December 2017 the
Executive Committee, has unanimously declared an Extraordinary General Meeting to be held on the 7th
of January at the SLC Headquarters.
The purposes of this meeting, as declared by the Notice inter alia shall be to;
1.) Adopt and approve the proposed amendments to the Constitution of Sri Lanka Cricket (amended
in accordance with the amendments to the Regulations of the Sport Law No. 25 of 1973)
2.) To elect the Hony. General Secretary to the vacancy created by the appointment of Mr. Mohan
de Silva as Vice President to fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Mr. Jayantha
Dharmadasa.
Mr. Mohan de Silva, has resigned his position as the Hony. General Secretary and has been
unanimously appointed as the Vice President (in charge of Domestic Cricket) whilst Vice President
Mr. K. Mathivanan, will head the Pillar of International Cricket with effect from the 6th December
2017.
3.) To approve and adopt the Domestic Tournament Structure, Tournament Rules & Playing
Conditions.
