Schneider Electric expands retail distribution

The Worlds’ number one energy management solutions provider in its domain, Schneider Electric has committed to the Sri Lankan market by establishing its own subsidiary, Schneider Electric Lanka (Pvt.) Ltd in 2007 and already established a well defined partner network which represents the best in their market segments.

Domestic market customers now have the opportunity to enjoy Schneider Electric’s world class products like circuit breakers, trip switches, main switches and elegant range of distribution boxes backed by world’s number one technology.
In this initiative, Kelani Cables distributes those products through their strong dealer network covering the Island. The new and innovative range of switches by Clipsal (now under the brand of Schneider Electric) which has displaced the small button switch market together with sockets is distributed by ACL Cables. There are few other distributors in the company’s network including Electro-Serv Ltd., Bianco Ltd., Electro Metal Pressings Ltd., Infotechs Ltd., Watermart Ltd., Metropolitan Engineering Ltd. to cater in to the various market segments with complete portfolio.
A plethora of brand names, close to 120 were distributed globally under the giant umbrella of Schneider Electric which included leading brand names like Clipsal, Merlin Gerin, Telemecanique, Square D, APC, MGE,PELCO, C-Bus Lighting control Systems and TAC. With the latest changes of the company all different brand names now come under the one unique brand name Schneider Electric.
