ITN feted with Business Excellence Award
The Independent Television Network has been honoured with the Business Excellence Award.
The Awards Festival is annually organized by the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka. It was organized on a grand scale in Colombo last night. The event was held for the ninth occasion. Ambassador of Germany in Sri Lanka Dr. Jürgen Morhard graced the occasion as the Chief Guest.
Independent Television Network received the National Business Excellence Award for the excellent contribution made to the media. ITN Chairman Rosmand Senaratne received the Award. ITN General Manager Aruna Wijesinghe, Working Director P.G. Dassanayake, Members of the Board of Directors and Deputy General Managers were present on the occasion.
Sri Lanka Telecom bagged the Golden Award. National Business Excellence Awards were also presented in respect of many fields including agriculture, bank and finance companies, construction, gem and jewellery and media.
