Record breaking Billion Rupee Bids for Sri Lanka Cricket

Sri Lanka Cricket is pleased to announce that it has received  record breaking Billion Rupee bids for the Sponsorship of it’s National Teams.

Sri Lanka Cricket has proven the growth of it’s brand image with the receipt of  highly competitive bids from four parties vying to Sponsor the National Cricket teams for a period of three years, starting from June 2013.

Among the Companies, who have come forward for the bidding are, Dialog Axiata, Madison Media, Sri Lanka Tea Board & Total Sports Asia.

Two bids were received with the value in excess of two billion rupees. SLC called for tenders from interested parties to appoint the new team sponsor for the Men’s and Women’s national team for the post May 2013 period.

The new team sponsor will be announced after evaluation and approval from SLC’s Sponsorship & Executive Committees respectively.
