Czech fertility clinics expand to meet demand from overseas patients
The number of infertile couples seeking treatment at private Czech clinics has doubled in the last five years, spurred on by the country’s low medical costs and liberal fertility laws. Forty percent of the patients are from overseas. This is one of a string of clinics which has sprung up to cope with demand from thousands of couples for test tube babies. Czech Republic said that there are no laws banning, or restricting the donation of eggs and sperm and couples’ travel from all over the world to get here.
