Sri Lanka’s Eastern University to discuss “Knowledge and Technology for Post-war Recovery”.
Sri Lanka’s Eastern University will hold an International Conference during the next week to discuss “Knowledge and Technology for Post-war Recovery”.
The two day conference which will start on the 12th of September, will see Prof. Syed Jamil Ahmed of University of Dhaka delivering the key note speech.
Dr. Rahul Mukherji- Associate Professor, South Asian studies, National University of Singapore and Dr. Alistair J Murdoch- Associate Professor of Crop and weed science, too have been invited to speak at the upcoming conference.
The confernace will review 61 research papers, ranging from topics such as, Post-Conflict Reconciliation, Science and Technology in Development, Food Production and Climate Change nexus, Health Care, Peace Medicine and Human Well-being, Culture, Literature and Performing Arts, Poverty and Livelihood etc.
It will also focus on areas of, Water Resources, Information and Communication in a Globalization Age, Business and Management for Economic Growth, Politics and Good Governance in Pluralistic Society, Education in a Knowledge Economy and Renewable Energy Resources.
The event will be held at the “Nallaiah Auditorium” of the Eastern University of Sri Lanka, under the patronage of Vice-Chancellor of the University Dr.K.Gobindarajah.
