Thisara not involved in 'match fixing'
The Indian Cricketing authorities have informed Sri Lanka Cricket that Thisara Perera has not got involved in ‘match fixing’, as claimed by certain Indian media reports.
“Sri Lanka Cricket wishes to announce that the alleged match fixing charges referred to Thisara Perera in a certain Indian Newspaper, has been totally refuted by the Anti Corruption Unit of the Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI)”, announced a statement issued by the SLC in this regard.
Perera is a part of the Hyderabad Sunrises team and was taking part in the CLT20 tournament, when the Indian media came out with this story.
Sri Lanka Cricket in response to the above allegation said that it has full confidence on all of its players.
