Sri Lanka Cricket to offer domestic player contracts for 103 First Class Cricketers

Sri Lanka Cricket will provide contracts to over 100 domestic cricket players with an investment of Rs. 85 million for the 2017/2018 season.
Accordingly, 103 players who took part in the Major Tournament 2016/2017 has been listed to be given annual player contracts.
The players were selected on the following criteria.
20 first class players who had performed at the highest level during the last season, 23 players under the emerging category to encourage them to perform well in the domestic tournaments, 29 players from the under 19 age group category, 14 former national players and 17 other players, who have represented Sri Lanka in the recent past, but were left out of the national contracts, are among the players selected to be given new contracts for the year 2017/2018 season.
Apart from the above annual contacts given by Sri Lanka Cricket, all these players are entitled to normal financial assistance given by their respective clubs.

දේශීය ක්‍රිකට් ක්‍රීඩකයන් සියයකට අධික පිරිසක් වාර්ෂික කොන්ත්‍රාත්තුවට
දේශීය ක්‍රිකට් තරගාවලියන්ට 2017 – 2018 ක්‍රිකට් වාරයේ සහභාගි වන පළමු ශ්‍රේණියේ ක්‍රිකට් ක්‍රීඩකයන් සියයකට අධික පිරිසක් කොන්ත්‍රාත් ගිවිසුම්වලට ඇතුළත් කරගැනීමට ශ්‍රී ලංකා ක්‍රිකට් ආයතනය තීරණය කර තිබේ.
මේ කොන්ත්‍රාත් ගිවිසුම් සඳහා ශ්‍රී ලංකා ක්‍රිකට් ආයතනය ආයෝජනය කරන මුදල ලක්ෂ 850කි. කොන්ත්‍රාත් ගිවිසුම් සඳහා ක්‍රීඩකයන් තෝරාගෙන ඇත්තේ 2016 සහ 2017 ක්‍රිකට් වාරයට සහභාගි වූ ක්‍රීඩකයන් අතුරිනි.
කොන්ත්‍රාත්තු අත්සන් තැබීමට ක්‍රීඩකයන් තෝරාගෙන ඇත්තේ පහත අන්දමටය.
2016-2017 ක්‍රිකට් වාරයේ ඉහළම දස්කම් දැක්වූ පළමු ශ්‍රේණියේ ක්‍රීඩකයන් විස්සක් සහ දේශීය තරගාවලියන්ට සහභාගි වී උසස් දස්කම් පෙන්වීමට දිරිගැන්වීමක් ලෙස නැගී එන ක්‍රීඩකයන් විසිතුනක් ද මීට ඇතුළත්ය. ඊට අමතරව අවුරුදු 19න් පහළ ක්‍රීඩකයන් විසි නවයකටත් හිටපු ජාතික ක්‍රීඩකයන් දාහතරකටත් වත්මන් ජාතික කණ්ඩායමේ කොන්ත්‍රාත්තුවලට අයත් නොවන එහෙත් මෑතකදී ශ්‍රී ලංකාව නියෝජනය කළ ක්‍රීඩකයන් දාහතකටත් නව කොන්ත්‍රාත්තු පිරි නැමීමට කටයුතු යොදා තිබේ.
ක්‍රීඩකයන් 103ක ට මේ ප්‍රතිපාදන ලබාදෙන්නේ ඔවුන්ගේ ක්‍රීඩා සමාජවලින් පිරිනැමෙන දීමනා වලට අමතරවය.
