Fox News’ John Roberts, originally from Toronto, spoke exclusively to Mayor Rob Ford Sunday afternoon.

“I have admitted to using illegal drugs in the last year. Okay, I’ve admitted to drinking too much. Okay, so I’m dealing with it. I am training every day. I’m in the gym for two hours every day. I’m seeking professional help. I’m not an alcoholic. I’m not a drug addict,” Ford told Roberts.

Ford added that he isn’t getting help for substance abuse because he simply is not addicted.

“We’re going to move forward and I am going to continue to fight for the little guy, I’m going to continue to save taxpayer’s money, and if the councilors want to strip all my power, that’s up to them.”

Ford continued with confidence, “The people haven’t spoken yet, John. Mark my words, on October 27th, the people are going to speak loud and clear,” he said referencing next year’s election.
