Pakistan Women’s Team win third 50-Over match by 108 runs against SL Women’s Team

The Pakistan Women’s Team won the third 50-Over International match against the Sri Lanka Women’s Team by 108 runs at the Rangiri Dambulla Stadium on Saturday.

With this win, the Pakistan Women’s Team won the ICC Women’s World Cup Qualifying Series 3-0.

Having batted first, Pakistan lasses scored 215 for 9 in 50 overs at 4.3 an over with Nahida Khan top scoring with 46 off 76 balls. She struck 5 boundaries in sharing in a 62-run alliance for the second wicket with Javeria Khan who made 30 off 45 balls containing 4 boundaries. Skipper Bismah Maroof chipped in with 26 off 34 deliveries hitting 2 boundaries.

Sri Lanka Women’s Team was all out for107 in 41.3 overs with opening batsman Nipuni Hansika top scoring with 35 off 40 balls inclusive of 5 boundaries. Others to go past double figures were B.M.S.m. Kumari who made an unbeaten 18 off 45 with 2 boundaries and P.M. Weerakkody 15 off 47 with a boundary. Sri Lanka Women’s Team lost their way precipitating to 7 for 79 in 26.4 overs. The slide continued with Sana Mir doing the damage with the ball for Pakistan claiming 4 for 27 in 10 overs and Nashra Sandhu taking 3 for 18 in 8.3 overs.
