Many facilities for visitors to Deyata Kirula
Many facilities will be provided to visitors to the Deyata Kirula National Exhibition. Development Projects are in progress.
A special programme has been launched to meet the health and sanitary requirements of visitors to the Deyata Kirula Exhibition. A workshop was held in Kurunegala for officials involved in the health sector including the Medical Officers of Health and Public Health Inspectors on the initiatives that they should take. The workshop was held under the auspices of District Health Services Director Lakshman Edirisinghe. The workshop took cognizance of the manner in which inspections should be carried out with regard to hygienic conditions of the food provided to the people, sanitary facilities as well the administration of First Aid.
In the meantime, The Electrification Schemes launched under Deyata Kirula within the Yapahuwa electorate have successfully reached the final stage.
Minister T.B. Ekanayake commissioned the Mahapitiya Electrification Scheme constructed at a cost of 17 million rupees in the Polpithigama area. 168 families will benefit from this Scheme.
