Seethawaka schools ‘recovering’ after Dengue
The three schools in the Colombo – Seethawaka Education Division that were closed due to the Dengue virus will re-open on Thursday.
Education Director of the Seethawaka Division Jayasiri Ariyaratne stated that the Hanwella Rajasinghe Central College, the Mayadunne Maha Vidyalaya and the Pahathgama Roman Catholic College will re-open on Thursday.
The Pahala Hanwella Preparatory College and Maliyadeva Primary School re-opened Wednesday.
Ariyaratne stated that the Dengue eradication programmes that were carried out at each of these schools were successful.
