A brisk knock of 59 off 34 deliveries by skipper Upul Tharanga helped Udarata Rulers pull off an easy 7-wicket win against Southern Express in a SLC Super 4s Twenty20 game played at the SSC in Colombo on Friday (27).
Express skipper Lasith Malinga elected to bat first and were bowled out for 141 runs with a delivery remaining from their allotted 20 overs.
Tharanga’s knock included 10 fours and a six as the Rulers cantered to a comfortable victory with 16 balls to go.
