The minister of education Bandula Gunawardana says that as the qualified graded principals do not like to accept the principal position, the filling up of principal vacancies has got delayed.
He said that though the applications are forwarded to the schools, minority likes to apply.
The minister said that this is because they do not like to take the responsibility or reluctant to be blamed while bearing the responsibility.
