Firearm discovered in drawer belonging to Payagala assistant train master
A firearm has been discovered in a drawer of an assistant train master at the Payagala South train station.
Railways Superintendent L.A.R. Ratnayake stated extensive investigations have commenced into the incident.
He said that the suspect had not come for work during the investigations.
Police Media Spokesperson SSP Ajith Rohana reported that a team from the Special Task Force at the Kalutara Police are conducting investigations.
He added that the suspect is yet to be arrested.
