Adhipooram festival of Mayurapathy Bathrakali Kovil
Mayurapathy Sri Bathrakali Amman Kovil will hold its annual Adhipooram festival from July 30 to August 6 for the 27th consecutive year.
The Pall Kavadi procession will leave New Kathiresan temple at 8.30 a.m. on July 30 and reach Sri Bathra Kali Amman Kovil with the participation of over 300 devotees.
The Chariot Festival will leave Mayurabathy Temple on August 2 at 6.30 a.m. and will be back at the temple by evening. The Water Cutting ceremony will be held on August 3 at 8.00 a.m.(KH)
