Ramazan message of the JVP

- lankatruth.com

Let’s resolve to defend brotherhood and peace!

Today (29th) is the ‘Ramazan’ day celebrated by Muslim devotees in Sri Lanka as well as those around the world.

Today marks the completion of the holy Ramazan month through which Muslim devotees observed fasting. During this period they help their brethren who lead difficult lives. Those who have help those who do not have. Specially valued qualities during this fasting period are brotherhood, temperateness and generosity.

The period of fasting and Ramazan festival that gives prominence to distribution of resources equally is specially important. We believe that its message is important not only for Muslim devotees but also for the rest of the population.

However, the JVP draws the attention of the Muslim masses to the conspiracies and attacks carried out by imperialist – zionist unholy alliance against Muslims all over the world as well as Muslims in Sri Lanka. The Lankan fraction of the imperialist – zionist unholy alliance, with the patronage of the government, is active against Muslim masses. In doing so it has created a necessary means for imperialism and zionism to interfere in our country. The JVP appeals to all citizens of our country to come forward to defeat these barbaric conspiracies.

The JVP extends its warmest greetings to all Muslim devotees who celebrate Ramazan today.
