GCE(A/L) Tuition Classes Banned from Today
A ban on G.C.E. Advanced Level tuition classes will be strictly implemented from midnight today (July 30th), with the help of the Police, Commissioner General of Examinations W. M.N.J. Pushpakumara announced.
Teachers are prohibited from conducting mass or individual tuition classes, conducting seminars, workshops, discussions, printing and discussing model question papers, five days prior to the GCE(A/L) examination, said Pushpakumara.
The Police have been instructed to take action on any complaints against those violating the law.
Pushpakumara called on the public to inform the Examination’s Commissioner, of any violation of these rules on 0112784208, 0112784537 or Examinations Dept. Emergency No.1911 or Police Headquarters No.0112421111.(KH)
