Uniforms and Text Books for Academic Year 2015
The Ministry of Education Services has taken steps to purchase school uniform material from local manufacturers. The Ministry of Education Services will buy the total requirement of free school uniform materials totaling 8,571,000 metres and 300,000 metres of robe material from local textile manufacturers to be distributed among school children in government schools and bhikku students for 2015.
Also The Ministry of Education has taken steps to print 29,115,800 copies of 351 categories of school text books required for students for the academic year 2015 at a total cost of Rs. l,840,639,050.00.
The Education Ministry expects to get them printed from 22 printing institutions. (ST/KH)
