Australia dominates medals table at Commonwealth Games
Australia is dominating the Commonwealth Games, Glasgow medals table with 34 Gold Medals, while England are in a close second place with 33 Gold.
Sri Lanka’s Niluka Karunaratne managed to secure his place in the Round of 16 in the Badminton event July 30 defeating Ghana’s Abraham Aitei.
Sri Lanka’s Niluka Karunaraten took part in a men’s Singles match July 30 morning in Glasgow against Abraham Aitei and won the game 2 sets to 0.
With this win Niluka proceeded to the Round of 32 and defeated Nasheeu Sharafuddeen 2 sets to 0.
Niluka proceeds to the Round of 16 and will face Indias Srikanth Kidambi on July 31.
