Her vision to transform the concept of fashion also saw the launch of 143, the CC flagship store which firmly continues to set and instigate the fashion pace with its unique concept and shopping experience.  The store continues to be a landmark shopping destination for locals and tourists. Her sharp business acumen also observed a niche in leather products prevalent within Sri Lanka's quality conscious fashion spectrum, which saw her introduce Hidesign, high-end designer leather craft into Leather Collection, with an expansive accessory range from one of Asia's most fashionable brands. Her dynamic focus on conceptualising and launching brands and products that will undoubtedly introduce emerging seasonal trends from the fashion capitals around the world and adding the dimension of high quality fashion into the retail fashion industry, have been aptly recognised with this accolade by Women in Management.

Possessing a good work-life balance, given that she is a mother of two and manages a network of 6 stores manned by a highly motivated service-oriented team of over 140 who come under the umbrella of Cotton Collection and Leather Collection, Niloufer has proven beyond doubt that women are extremely capable of running successful businesses, possess extraordinary entrepreneurial spirit and are very competent in balancing personal and professional lives admirably.  She has tasked her talented team with taking her vision forward, trained as sentinels in the fashion arena to remain vigilant of emerging trends in the world's fashion meccas.

“I am truly honoured to receive this award. I attribute all my success to my passionate and dynamic team & supportive family. Without these 2 pillars of strength, I would not be where I am today” said  NilouferAnverally, upon being bestowed this award.(KH/SI)
