Sun directly over at Valappadu,Kilinochchi and Putumattalan
The Met. Dept. says that Atmospheric conditions are getting favorable for some rain over the country.
Several spells of showers will occur in the Western, Sabaragamuwa and Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts particularly during the morning.
Thundershowers will develop at a few places in the Uva and Eastern provinces during the afternoon or evening.
On the apparent southward relative motion of the Sun, it is going to be directly over the latitudes of Sri Lanka during 28th of August and 07th of September in this year. The nearest towns of Sri Lanka over which the sun will overhead tomorrow (29th), are Valappadu,Kilinochchi and Putumattalan about 12:12 noon.
