Sri Lanka rout Pakistan – Win match & series
Sri Lanka won the third ODI and the series against Pakistan by 2-1 played at Dambulla today (30th). Pakistan captain Misbah-ul Haq won the toss and elected to bat. Sri Lankan seamers did not allow Pakistan batsmen to settle down Prasad taking two wickets early in the innings and Malinga contributing by taking one wicket. Rest of the wickets followed Tisara Perera taking 4 wickets for 34 runs Herath and Prasanna taking one wicket each. Pakistan were all out for 102 in 32.1 overs.
Sri Lanka concluded the match easily chasing the score within 18.1 overs. Thisara Perera was named the Man of the match and series for his all-round performance.
Pakistan won the first match in Hambantota by four wickets, before Sri Lanka drew level with a 77-run win in the second game at the same venue.
