Former Provincial Council Member Ananda Aluthgamage, the brother of Minister of Sport Mahindananda Aluthgamage, exposed the real qualities of his brother in a media briefing held recently.

“We dedicated ourselves for the victory of Mr. Mahindananda Aluthgamage. It is due to our dedication that he came first in the preferential list from Kandy District. In the end he, displaying his ungratefulness, cast away all those who supported him. He has come down to the low level of getting rid of his wife who was like his shadow.

At every election Minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage unleashed terror, violence, fraud and corruption. The houses at SAARC village at Nawalapitiya were not given to the needy. Lands at Imbulpitiya estate in Nawalapitiya were given to his friends and traders using false names. There is no development if no commission is involved. A land belonging to the Department of Railways was seized using thugs. The police at Nawalapitiya do everything Mahindananda tells them,” said Mr. Ananda Aluthgamage at the media briefing.
