I’ll definitely file a case in November – Sarath N Silva
If the presidential election is called after 19th November and Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa comes forward as a candidate he would file a case in the Supreme Court against the Commissioner of Elections for acting illegally says former Chief Justice Sarath N Silva.
He further states Mr. Mahinda Rajapaksa, by being sworn in as the President for a second term before the 18th amendment was adopted, has got himself disqualified to present nomination for a third time. He said he would file a case if Mr. Rajapaksa comes forward and he is waiting until the presidential election is announced. Former CJ said the it would be a decisive case and added that he has already prepared all the documents necessary for the case.
