The Met. Dept. says that showers or thundershowers will be fairly widespread over the island during the afternoonand night.
Inter-monsoon conditions are prevailing over the island.
Showers will occur in the Western and Southern coastal areas during the morning too.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize the damages caused by lightning activities.
