Is Maithri leaving?-media: certain gossip stories become a reality-Keheliya

In the history of Sri Lanka’s elections the changing of parties by politicians is a normal happening was said by the mass media Minister Keheliya Rabukwella.He has said that what is published in the media about the crossing over of Minister of Health,Maithripala Sirisena was discussed in the cabinet media discussion.

He said that before an election there are many news published,gossip stories are spread.Sometimes a few of them become a reality was added by the Minister.He also added that he is certain that Maithripala Sirisena would not cross over to opposition as he attended the SLFP media discussion actively. The Cabinet media spokesman also had said that Maithripala Sirisena had said at a number of instances that he would not cross over.He also said that Maithripala is not a person who will just kill time.When the Minister was questioned whether he could give an assurance that no one would cross over,the answer given was that in a government with 162 Members who represent 14 political parties how could he give such an assurance.
