Divi Neguma 1st National Convention held under the auspicious of President

The first national convention of the Divi Neguma Program was held under the auspicious of President Mahinda Rajapaksa at the Campbell Park in Borella on Friday (21).


Over 50,000 persons representing 1073 Divi Neguma Banks were present at this occasion.

Among the dignitaries present were religious leaders of all faiths led by Chancellor of the University of Ruhuna Prof Ven Kumburugamuwe Vajira Nayaka Thera, Economic Development Minister Basil Rajapaksa, Senior Ministers A.H.M.Fowzie and Athauda Seneviratne, Ministers Douglas Devananda, Lakshman Yapa Abeywardena, Deputy Ministers Susantha Punchinilame, MLM Hisbullah, MPs Thilanga Sumathipala, Duminda Silva, Secretary to the Ministry of Economic Development Dr Nihal Jayathilake and other ministry officials.
